@thetour21: A second and final Rest Day and Reflection of the two weeks so far.

The video was filmed on Stage 14 (Tourmalet): 9hrs:54mins in the saddle: 95.14 miles and 12,885 ft of elevation.

Therefore, after fifteen gruelling stages, today’s scheduled rest day on @thetour21 is a welcome reprieve. It's a moment to recharge, reflect on our journey, and express my gratitude for your incredible support. This week nearly broke me.

I am not a cyclist, and this has pushed me to my absolute limits physically, mentally and emotionally. Today marks my 180th day of cycling.

Though the statistics below show where I am in this, the achievement I want the most is to raise £30k, and I still have £10k to go. That is why I am putting my body through this.

Totals so far:
🚴 Ridden - over 1,700 miles
🚴 Elevation: 104,476ft climbed (equivalent to climbing Mt. Everest 3.5 times)
🚴 Time in the saddle: 120.41 hours (I am a bit slower than most in the group)
🚴 Over 80,000 Kcal burned

@thetour21: A Welcome Rest Day and Reflection

After nine gruelling days, today’s scheduled rest day on @thetour21 21 is a welcome reprieve. It's a moment to recharge, reflect on our journey, and express my gratitude for your incredible support.

Raising Awareness: During this time, 277 people in the UK have been diagnosed with leukaemia—one every fourteen minutes.

Pushed to the Limit Mentally and physically, we operate on a simple routine: eat, sleep, cycle, repeat. We’ve become like machines, going through the pain and fatigue, existing in a bubble of relentless effort.

Entering Uncharted Waters: With two intense weeks and some of the world’s toughest mountain stages ahead, my body and mind are entering new territory.

This is the most brutal sporting challenge I’ve ever faced—fact.

Achievements So Far: Reflecting on the past nine days, here’s what we’ve accomplished:
